In the photo no, but I have since heat treated it, I'm tempering right now.

Oh ok the one picture looks like it has a bit of a hamon line going on that got a little close to the edge.
What's the plan for handle material?

I'm not sure right now, I've got a bunch of stabalized scales and I haven't decided yet.
