Not to take anything away from your past work, Andre, but I think this is my favorite knife ever. I love the bold damascus blade and the damascus and (looks like) silver guard treatment. The handle material (mammoth?) is simply gorgeous.

Tell your dad "Well done!"

I can see this as being very effective as a "fighter".

Here is the scenario, guy comes up and starts trouble. He pulls out his Pakistan made hunting knife. You pull this out and he stops in his tracks and (while dropping his knife on the ground) says,"Awesome knife dude, can I see it"

You have turned him into a drooling pile of man flesh and have not even had to make a cut. And folks say its not practical to carry and art knife for use. HA!

Great looking knife Andre. Very impressive.

Ray

Andr?-

This is great...fantastic! Heck, it's beyond that...

Now everyone can see why I kept asking you to post pics of your Dad's work.
You both are just amazing, although it's easy enough to see from whence your talent sprang forth!

The damascus is beyond any superlatives...both of you work magic in that department.
I love the accent embellishment...but then I already told him that when I saw similar treatment on your Dad's knives at your table at the Blade Show. (I wish everyone could have seen the collection of knives from these two, spread out on the same table. As you might well imagine, a breathtaking sight indeed!).

Keep 'em coming Andr?... Me want more!

Yeah Baby!

I'm not fighting with that one. But I am fighting the urge to drool ! From now on, anyone who argues with over whether knives are a supreme expression of artistic talent will be asked to contact either you or your father directly. Jason.
