Axis,thuya,palm and silver

This scandinavian knife (sheath in a few days)is made from a Mattias Styrefors colour mosaic damascus(Sweden,41/4" long(105mm),handle is made from axis stag(white)from my ranch,thuya burl,and black palm spacers,finished by silver fitting made from silver rings and an old silver spoon!!(pomel).

Thank you Carey!!Glad you like it!!I have been doing bolsters and but caps or pomels with silver rings and either silver sheet,or old coins for the bolster,and in this case an old silver spoon silver soldered to the ring,and filed to the adequate shape!!I finally fill those with epoxi with powdered metal to a protruding screw or the tip of the tang witha nut to grab!!
I hope you understand my explaination!!

Hi!!I started working on the sheath,and now only the top leather part is missing,as well as the hanger.
This part is thuya,black palm and silver ring/spoon tip!!The back(inside) of the sheath is prune(plum) wood from my garden!!
I will post the final sometime "next" year""

Thank you very much John!!The thuya is realy very nice and after the finish it has tridimensional movement!!
I will probably work on the leather top tomorrow!!Today I feel rather clumsy after the champagne!!(did not gety drunk but I feel funny!!!)
