Axis,mammoth,palm and silver!!
Here a "scandinavian"knife I just finished!!The sheath coming soon!!
The blade is a 31/2" Mattias Styrefors (Sweden)in mosaic colour damascus.The handle is made with bolster and pommel made with silver rings and coins,mammoth molar,black palm spacers and axis deer stag from my ranch!! I hope you like it!!Thanks for looking!! Regards:Alberto |

Mammoth tooth is for sure a big pain in the backside ,but as you said, it is worth the effort!

Thanks John!!Quite right!!I had never worked it before,only a couple of agate hanles (real one,very hard)was my experience with hard materials!!But the mammoth tooth is (even stabilized)prone to chipping and parts seem to get loose,so I kept working it and puting som CA(Zap a Gap)to continue!!
