Axis,mammoth,palm and silver!!

Here a "scandinavian"knife I just finished!!The sheath coming soon!!
The blade is a 31/2" Mattias Styrefors (Sweden)in mosaic colour damascus.The handle is made with bolster and pommel made with silver rings and coins,mammoth molar,black palm spacers and axis deer stag from my ranch!!

Thank you Joe and Azmike!!Very happy you like it!!I have to go to Montevideo for a few days,and when I return here to the ranch I will work on a sheath adequate for thi nice blade!!

Mammoth tooth is for sure a big pain in the backside ,but as you said, it is worth the effort!

Thanks John!!Quite right!!I had never worked it before,only a couple of agate hanles (real one,very hard)was my experience with hard materials!!But the mammoth tooth is (even stabilized)prone to chipping and parts seem to get loose,so I kept working it and puting som CA(Zap a Gap)to continue!!
but all ended well!!

The coin is like the one I cut for the pommel soldering it to a silver ring!!
