10" Damascus dagger

This dagger I made a couple of years ago.The blade is from Jantz, ladder damascus.Handle is brass, copper, touquoise, axis stag from my ranch, and the sheath is wooden, covered with snake skin also from my ranch.(Bothrops alternatus)All was handworked after mounting, including guard, pomel.

I hope you like it!!Thanks for looking. This one was sold to the US!!
Regards:Alberto

Fantastic.
I would have preferred a more arrogant sheath.
Beautiful work.

Thank you Victor!!Here the snakes are quite active in summer,Yarara is quite dangerous and can grow up to 5 feet(1500 mm)or more, big fangs too!!I tan the skin that is quite thin ,first in rubbing alcohol,or plain alcohol for a few days, then extend it to dry.I have salted it too but wit alcohol is ok!!The skin usually peels like a glove with almost nothing sticking to it(flesh)if so I remove it!!
Best regards!! Saludos!!
