First Knife

I posted this on the Outpost a couple weeks ago, and someone suggested I put it on the Display Case to share with everyone.

This is my first completed knife - I made it as a gift for a good friend who needed something to carry at his lower back when stalking. I did this one unplugged and really enjoyed it. The blade is forge finished 1065. The handle is osage. The tang is pined under the wrap and set with cutler's resin. The wrap is hemp steeped in the same culter's resin. Blade is 5" with a full distal taper and convex geometry. OAL is 10".

Thanks for looking.

A little while ago I saw this in the outpost and was hoping that you would show it here. I REALLY like everything about this knife. Beautiful first or hundred and first.

Keep em coming, Dave

Great looking knife! It looks like you've been doing it for years. Everything comes together on that one.

I am a definite fan of this knife. Nothing gawdy, just the basic elements of a knife, which is attractive in itself. Keep it up!!!!
