Robert,
Doesn't sound like a bad idea. As long as it's not to constraining or restrictive, I hate to be "Ruled" to death.
Do you have any particulars formatted that you could share with us?
For now, I'll throw my anvil in the ring. We'll see how things go from there.

Kewl! We can have a "home-coming hammer-in" and wear out John's new forge and anvil!!
Mark, someone told me there are quite a few "simulator" set ups in the Atlanta Metro Area. I can ask around some more and see what's up with that. My son-n-law is a pilot and might know something or someone. There's also the Dobbins/NAS air base here and one in Warner Robbins (military bases = transfer ?).
>>Or there's that other adventure we've been talking about<<

Carl I could probably transfer within Lockheed Martin in a skinny minute. I've been doing tech work for 20 years now including schools so i'm ready for a change.
I'm thinking that I could live cheaply for a while till I can my knife making going. Hell Trackrock is only $300 a month. I have no debts at all. I'm selling a motorcycle that should bring in around $6500. A mustang for $3000 and a Big set of tires and rims for $600. I would be willing to put the vast majority of this into our venture.

And the best news I've gotten in a while is that the V.A. has been trying to send me disability checks for two years that I havent gotten . Hopefully $2400. If I dont make my move pretty soon I would be stupid.

John & I would be interested in receiving information on this. We are members of the North Carolina Custom Knivemaker's Guild and throughly enjoy our association with them. We make the trek every 3 months for meetings, demo's and to take advantage of the classes offered at the school.

Hi guys,

Robert & John have started the initial planning for the Georgia Guild. You can see the announcement on all of the forums. Robert, John & I have discussed the prospects of a Georgia Guild many times and decided this is a good time to go ahead with the plans. We hope we see and / or hear from each of you to make sure the Georgia Knifemaker's Guild is everything we would like for it to be.
