Boar hunting dagger
This one I made a few years ago for one of my nephews(also my Godson!!)who likes wild boar hunting!!It has a blade from a Mauser from our army surplus, made in Czecoslovakia for a 1937 contract. The blade is mirror polished ,and the handle is from an axis deer crown(from my ranch) with black palm ,and osage orange(maclura pomifera)spacers. The sheath is made using the very safe for hunting, original scabbard ,covered with swede, and sole leather details. The blade was sharpened on the top edge tip too for better penetration for stabbing!!
Thank you for looking!!Regards. Alberto |

Thanks Skip and Mete!!Glad you like it!!I misspelled !!It is suede,my excuses to swedes!!
And he has taken some boars, but with an other knife,he does not want to scratch it!!But I think it would be really very adequate!! It is meant to finish off the boar, and bleed it!! Regards:Alberto |
