The New guy
Hey Guys, I'm new to the forum and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a cattle farmer from alabama. I have always been a fan of knives, and collected quite a few. Last year I began learning to work with steel. Really enjoy it. Have only made one knife from start to finish. Much more dificult than one would think, butextremely satisfying, and you gotta love a challenge. Recently my wood and metal shop barn caught fire from a lightning stripe and all pix were lost and the knife. So that has placed my knife making on hold while I rebuild. In the mean time I purchased an edge pro and have started sharpening knives like crazy. Also have begun to some what clean and fix up vintage knives. Looking forward to this forum.
I do have a question in regard to an old Meat Cleaver that I have. The knife has terrier knife company stamped on it. in fair condition wanted to know if anyone knows any about them. I found a terrier knife company that was supposed to have only made knives from 1910-1916, but haven't come across any kitchen style knives. I have posted a picture with it. lemme know what ya'll think or know about them |

Welcome to our addiction, CattleMaster (I hope to heck you have a real name as that one is a handful!). I don't know anything about that brand of knife but someone might come along with some wisdom to impart ....
