You may post progress pics if you wish, not required. Once the knife is finished I'll need a picture of it which I will then post on a web page for KITH entries. The pictures will be with the knife in a horizontal position against a plain background and with a ruler in the picture for reference. Having all the pictures done the same way makes the rating easier and more fair I think. I want the knife rated rather than your skill as a photographer. See any of the previous KITHs pages for examples (http://www.rayrogers.com/kith_kitchen.htm for example).

When the time comes its best if you email the picture to me with a brief description of the materials used rather than posting it in this thread and hoping that I find it ....

Would a knife I made a few years ago qualify?
It is a staked leather Arkansas Toothpick knife with a brass guard and pommel.

Grayshadow,

Sounds like it would if you want to enter it. Take a picture of it with the knife in horizontal format against a plain background and include a ruler in the picture. An example of acceptable KITH pictures would be these from a previous KITH http://www.rayrogers.com/kith_kitchen.htm

Email the picture to me with a brief description of the materials used and I'll post it on the new KITH page as the first entry.......

WoW, I go on vacation and look what happens. I've been thinking about stick tangs lately, guess we'll see what happens.

Yea, I have this thing called a job that keeps eating up all of my free time. I was able to grind it last night. Hopefully work on fitting the guard tonight.

Here is the start of my submission for the kith. It will eventually be a stacked leather handled dagger. The keyhole attachment for the threaded rod was something that have not seen done but thought it would be worth trying. Let me know what you think.
Thanks
Steve
