A Grizzly drill press that was officially a Christmas present but I got it in November. A face shield, respirator, work apron, 2 sets of files, a 2lb hammer, work gloves and welding gloves, a tube of brass rod for pin stock, and $90 for whatever else I needed for the shop. I did well I think.

I didn't get a thing for my "shop" for Christmas- hubby says I've gotten enough over the past 4 months. I did win a Epson printer for use with Tom Whites Transfer solution for 20.00 off of Ebay and found the Transparencies for 27.99 on Amazon and a book on Glass engraving (see the studio is NOT the shop ::winks:

AND I did get a wonderful hand written custom framed list from my oldest daughter who's 23- 101 things I love about my mom. Made me tear up a bit-

Julie

Believe me it was a hard sale to convince hubby we needed a 3rd printer- I have a cannon I9900 that does 13x19 prints, my samsung laser printer for acetone transfers and now this one.

I had a couple of very nice unexpectected sales of things I had on hand and then I got at least a half dozen more orders for knives (two on Christmas day) in the week before Christmas so I'd have to say what I got for the shop was the opportunity to spend even more time in it....

Now see I dont mind lumps of coal (especially if they are a couple of million years old ) Did I say that out loud?

Ya know Dwane I was hoping to see pictures of you holding that new knife of yours :P

And though I didn't get any knife orders- I just finished this carved hope chest for a friends daughter-

And am now obligated to make one for each of my girls (all 4 of them) and one bouncing baby granddaughter. But have one order for a paid cash money one. So its not too bad.

J

i got a knife from the christmas kith and it sure is a beauty, also it may not be a christmas present but its close, i have a box of horn and other goodies on the way from one of the elves here on the forums. and my parents didnt get in on time to buy me a gift voucher so i just have $260 cash to spend on supplies. i will probably order some steel because i only have 2 bars left, will also get some Ti and other folder gear. Also thinking of going to the woodworkers store and getting some cool hardwoods.
