does anyone know how you apply black-titanium-nitride coating or coat a knife in black powder? If you know please help me out on these methods. Thanks!

to apply black titanium nitride you need a million dollar machine, but there are places that will do the coatings for you. one place i was looking at awhile back had a minimum of $200

you can powder coat a knife black with a powder coating kit from a place like www.caswellplating.com they also sell black chrome and black oxide kits.

another way is to use gunkote from http://www.kgcoatings.com/gunkote.html

for a tactical field use knife i would go with gunkote. fairly easy to apply and it lasts a decent amount of time
