Been a while since I did this

In the day I had plenty of projects underway to fit the show schedules. As the knife making slowed for me to pursue other projects, they sat and sat. The machines managed to get used for other items, polishing tools and parts refinishing. Middle of '12 I cut some Ti and put a few hours in to begin 12 folders and 4 fixed blades. Grinding stone for the fixed blade handles is tedious, I'm saving that joy till after the folders are done. Maybe winter, hahahaha.

Here's where they are as of today:

Managed to get a few hours in to get some handle material worked on. Amusingly for all of what I'd accumulated, it wasn't what I wanted to put to the knives. I've used up most of the larger MOP so I was happy I'd bought this slab of this a spell back so I began separating it.

I like ivory types but I don't, this is one of the materials I've had a respiratory reaction to. This is why I like stone and MOP because these are worked wet, dust is not a concern. Anyway, went well and I still have much of this slab to cut down. The coffee colored bark is pretty nice but I wish I had bought the bluish one. (That was big $$ though.)
