Sears Drill Press
I happened to go to Sears today. They have their 8" drill press on sale for $49.99. But, it's only on sale today.
Not a bad price. A.T. -- My next show is the "Greater Ohio Valley Knife Show" November 14-15 2003 "Don't you buy no ugly knife" http://www.customknives.com/ |

That's their 8" drill press by Tradesman (not Craftsman). I'm in Sears frequently and have checked this out several times since they first become a regular in their lineup several months ago (I'm not looking to buy, just always taking stock of what's new in the market). Not a bad little drill press, it's regular sticker price is $89.99 but is frequently put on sale for under $60. This past Saturday was a One Day 1/2 price sale so it was available that day for only $44.99.
If you're looking for a very inexpensive drill press, I believe this to be the best for the least to be found in the marketplace (when it's on sale and once you factor in that their are no shipping charges). A big plus factor is that you can easily return to the store if there are any problems. Dennis Greenbaum Yeah Baby! |
