Wagon wheel wrought iron

I am working out a deal for 500 Lbs of wagon wheel wrought iron. The samples I got are real clean and etch out real nice. It would sell for $3 a lbs so if anyone is interested let me know. This pallet of rims was destined for the landfill but I was able to intervene and convince the guy that I/we could put it to better use.

I'd like to have a few pounds on hand just 'cause.

Put me down for 5 lbs. Let me know how to pay and where to send it.

Here is a test etch of a 1/2" piece with two different light sources.

Another sample piece.

It's pretty clean considering it's at least a century old.

I am still trying to fiqure out how to freight across four states without having to get a bank loan. It may come down to me making a road trip and hauling it myself. Besides it's in a state I have not been to yet so I may have two reasons to go.

I will be selling it by 50 Lbs flate rate boxes with wood liners or small 1/2-1Lbs sample packs. I don't have the time or resources to make idividual wood boxes to ship assorted sizes right now. Anyone who has shipped iron or steel chunks know that the packaging has to be very strong and durable or the order will never make it intact.

Brent!

I will bring over some wood for a trade if you want. I would definitely like to get some of that. I will come out and pick it up though. Let me know when you get it and I will buy like 20 bucks worth. Dan
