Little skinner
As you can see there's something missing from this knife. The blade was forged out of an odd ball piece of saw steel. Actually made this one for a friend. He was wanting something small so I hope it isn't to big. The blade is 3 1/2", overall its 7 5/8". Curly maple handle with bronze fittings.

Well... I thought it looked pretty complete till the opening statement. Nice clean lines. Cant tell, maybe it's the angle, does the blade need sharpening? Did you etch the blade or treat it 'almost' to the edge? I am a newbie.. May I ask where/who is your source for bronze? I would proud as heck to have created that knife.

It has a nice scandi look going. Maybe with a little drop to the point it (1/4") would smooth out the profile. Just my 1/2 cent worth.

re: Little skinner
I can't get over that handle, way cool . I'm not certain that I understand you question. Do you feel that the knife lacks what I refer to as "rightness", for want of a better term? That is a matter of taste (and if the buyer is in love with the blade, a moot point) If I were doing it, for what little that counts, I might want to see the plunge line a little better defined and a smoothe grind on the edge rather than a rough finish over the entire blade. That said, if I saw a knife just like that at a show that was for sale I might just start thinking about how long I could put off paying the power bill and get away with it.
