Thumbs up Let's see what you're building or bringing to our new Central Texas Knife Show next m

I'll start this out by uploading a few knives. Some of the knives I'm bringing are borrowed from the owners. I was off my feed for a long time, so I haven't had much time to build inventory. The borrowed ones are recently finished.

No pics yet but I've got folders in process.
A dozen or more lockbacks, and a 1/2 dozen auto flippers.
I never seem to have folders for Austin. This year I will.
Some new videos this year including Don's folder video, The Quillion of Quality, by Jarome Anders (for anyone taking the mastersmith test), and "D" Guard Bowie with Harvey Dean.
Plenty of damascus blades, blanks, and billets for sale too.
Alan Eldridge is coming too and wants to give a silver wire inlay lesson.
Johnny, think we could squeeze that in somewhere?

Pics come later, sorry.
I don't take out the camera untill the dust settles a little
See everybody there! God bless you.
Gene O.

Hi, Geno.

I hope Alan gets to do his silver wire inlay demo.

Post pics if you can.

Do me a favor please and bring some extra Don Robinson DVD's in case I run out.

Happy to Don.
I need an autographed copy myself, hint.
I'm spreading the word up here in the DFW area.
It is closer than you think. Be blessed.

Most knifemakers I know don't do computers.
I'm not much on them either but do lurk a lot.
I would rather believe that they are all working on knives for the show.
(like I am)
School is out, people are vacationing, summer months with family...everyone is busy these days. We didn't have much time to get this show announced, but Texas has some of the best makers around. It is time for the wake up calls

Don, you are both blessed, and a blessing to others.
We need more like you, Sir.
Have a happy little day now, ya hear!

Geno, I'm counting on you to bring a truck full of my new videos to draw from.

I'll post some more pics of my WIP for the show today.

Dwayne, what are you bringing?

Hi Mr. Don. I'm guessing that there are still plenty of tables left ? I'm working on some knives, but I won't know until about a week before if I'll have anything to sell or show. I'd like to visit with Bill Ruple, and some others. Bill taught me how to make Trappers, and that's what I'm trying to get in production on. I'll also bring one or two (better make that one) Bowies if I can get to Austin this year.
Looking forward to the show! If I just can't make it, then I'm looking forward to the 2009 show )

Don, you bring the popcorn, I'll bring the movies.
We can all learn how to make knives before we leave the show.

BTW, Don does ALL his own stunts in this feature, no stunt doubles at all.
The Academy Awards people keep calling, but Don is bashful about accepting any rewards and doesn't want Tom Cruise to be jealous from a first-timer.

Will Smith, scoot over. Don has his own action figures in stores now.

Maybe this will teach the writers and actors NOT to go on strike.
