Here's some shots EBO took last night at the NTMs 10th anniversary full moon party.

Looks like a great time Tai, wish I could have been there..............one of these days I swear I will get back to Tucson and drop by, I'm starting to miss the desert sometimes. And I haven't seen a cactus in a long time. I'm kind of isolated here, not too many people who share the same interests. Gets kind of depressing but your pics lighten things up a bit.

Josh

Josh, that is exactly why we gotta organize an Eastern Rendezvous Hammerin. Nothin like the warm summer nights in the PA mountains. Unless it is the cool fall nights, with acorns and hickory nuts falling on our heads. Tai has been lured back east before.

Wish oh wish oh wish I coulda been there Tai. Consider a little part of my spirit in that billet, even though I couldn't strike for ya.

Thanks for that, Tai.

My wife and I grew up in Ajo and went to Tucson for our wedding honeymoon 52 years ago. If we were still neighbors, I'd come over to visit.

Hammerdown....how bout a mid winter extreme hammerin in the mountains, ..............freezing cold and burning hot all at the same time. Bet we could talk J. Nielsen into it...................maybe we could build igloos....hehe

Could you forge inside an igloo or would the whole thing just be a big wet disaster?????? Me wonders..............guess it would depend on the height of the roof and size of the forge.

Hit some major winter weather driving back to Denver! - quite a contrast to the warmth and beauty of the Sonora.

But the 10th Anniversary NTM Full Moon party and commencement of Enchanted Blade #2 was a success! Thanks to Tai for making it all happen. EBO's pics are great and I hope to add a few more later. There's so much to say about this event - so many angles on it - the people, the location, the music, the moon and of course, the ritualized forging.

One thing really stands out though - Tai Goo is the master of his realm. Watching him work at his forge is inspiring. He's so comfortable with his tools and with what he's doing that he makes everything look simple and easy. 20+ years of experience has given him a lot of confidence. Tai also has the gift of teaching and likes to get others involved in what's going on. It all made for a great experience!

Thanks Buddy! It was great to have you here. I'm anxious to see some pictures when you get a chance. It turns out that there were several other "Tribes" forging with us Saterday night.

Y'all missed Buddy's guitar playing, and this killer CD of music he put together for us.

full moon forgein

That was a good time for sure. Tai that pic of Buddy and Lewis, and Julie and You was cool with the moon behind you.
Buddy, That was great to meet You and Lewis, and hear you guys play some guitar.
Tai, I liked Voltairs knives, they were cool and that bush bowie was the biggest knife I think I,ve ever seen of yours.

Good Times.
Jeff
