Going to Blade 08!
I just talked with the wife, and it looks like I'll be able to make the Blade show this year!
I'm a member of the Iron Butt Association and a friend of mine has been wanting to make a run which would qualify him for membership. So, we'll be riding our motorcycles to the show from Kansas and Missouri and make a non-stop 1500 mile run in less than 24 hours for the ride home. I'm going to wear a t-shirt with my name and avatar on it so all of my friends here can stop me and say, "Howdy" if you see me drooling on someone's work. That's great, Andy. You getting a table or visiting?
I'm hoping to have a table, and I will probably ride my Sportster to Ray Cover's house south of St. Louis, then ride in with him a couple of other guys. It's not long enough to qualify me for the IB title, but it will either kill my rear or turn it into iron!
