New Family Member (It's a puppy!)

This little guy is so cute I couldn't resist posting some pics....

He's a 10 week old, 4 pound, Shih Tzu pup... In keeping with the asian theme that we began with our 9 yr old Shih Tzu (her name is Ginseng), we decided to name this little fellow Sh#ttake, "Taki" for short (our politically correct, "naughty word" program won't let me spell out the name of a mushroom...sigh).

Ain't he cute? Now if he would just stop chewing on everything in sight! (I have to be careful not to let him near my shoes!)

Hey Skip-

That's quite the little devil you've got there....

Not that they're not great when they grow up into full-fledged adults, but wouldn't it be fun if puppies could just stay that way for a year or two? I'd be willing to put up with some of the "bad" habits in exchange for more time with the innocence and oh-so-cute curiosity.

Congrats, Dennis.

Wish my Mom would let me have a pet.
