Knife repair needed...

I was contacted through the GCKG website with a request. If anyone may be able to help this fellow out, please respond to this thread. I've asked him if he can provide some pictures. I know that this isn't custom knife related, but I thought someone may be able to help.

I have an old carving set made by J.A. Henckels that has been in my family for several generations. We recently gave our oldest child a set of Henckels kitchen knives and would like to pass this old carving set on to her as well. The knife and fork have stag handles, and the butt cap is missing from the knife. Can you steer me to a knife maker in the Atlanta area who might be able to fashion and attach a new butt cap to match the one on the fork?

Have to see what it looks like. And have to know what material it's made of.
If he can get some pictures to you, shoot them over and maybe I can help him out.
I just got through making/replacing a butt cap for a set made in Sheffield. Some are not so easy to replicate others are.
Right now it's a pig in a poke.
