New Member / Wife of Mike Turner, Knifemaker
I posted a few pics in the photography discussion and Coop suggested I start a new thread and introduce myself to the forum. So here goes. I am Mike Turner's signifigant other and I am the one responsible for taking the pictures of his work. I am new to photography and am enjoying the learning experience. We use a Canon 30D for picture taking with a 24 - 70 2.8L lens. Mike is the one who usually uploads the photographs but I may from time to time do the uploading myself. I hope that someday my photography will improve to the level I see here on the Knife Network. Thanks to Coop, Buddy Thomason and everyone else for their encouragement, kind words and suggestions. Thanks for stepping forward. Nice to see the whole family involved in our discussions. Canon 30D with an 'L' lens? Going the mediocre route, eh...??!!! Coop, yes I thought I would start out with just a basic digital camera and lens.
 My main interest is in the photography aspect though and I am sure I will have lots of questions for the photography gurus out there. To Skip, I am glad you like the pictures and are using them on your screen saver. I hope you enjoy them.
