"Wulfberht" is good, and you can move the 'h' around with every blade - they were more creative spellers in the 9th century! And ulf=wulf, too.
Alan - I'm sure there are some creative medieaval renderings of your name (in the sixteenth century, one of my ancestors was the 'constable of cessford' which is old style for "swamp crossing guard" - sounds better in the older rendering, no?), but working in an antique swordsmith reference is ultimately less cool than just working your name into the fabric of the blade, I bet. |
