Thumbs up I got my Typhoon!!!!

Hello,

I've been reading the forums for a while, but have not posted until now. I wanted to thank everyone here for talking about the Typhoon so much. It was the first thing I've ever bought on the internet and I was nervous about how it would look when I got it since I like to touch the things that I buy. I just got back in from a short trip with my job and what was waiting for me? - My new Typhoon kits.

All I can say is WOW!!! I never expected anything like this. This is probably the best knife I've ever owned. I can't wait to get started on my inlay one. I didn't get any glue with mine, will any type work?

These are really great. They make my Benchmade look like a piece of crap! My wife thinks so, too. Is it ok to use regular sandpaper on carbon fiber, or is there something else that you're supposed to use on it?

Thank you again!! JR

Hi JR!

Welcome to the CKD. I'm glad you like your Typhoon kits. We recommend that you use 2-ton clear epoxy for the inlays. It's cheap and you can find it at most hardware stores.

If you want the ultimate feel, sand your handles around the bottom edges and hit them a little around the outer edges to smooth them off. Darrel did one like that for me and it is sweet!

Post some photos if you can ...

Alex
