Very cool! I just got a set of elk antlers and a set of deer antlers to work with. I have never used antler before. Any tips or tricks?

Actually it was my first time using antler, and I basically just treated it like wood. Like will say that it smells terrible when it hits the grinder...my shop is outdoors and I still needed to grab a fan lol. I didn't have an issue with the soft porous center since I did a stick tang. I've read that if you're making scales you can use super glue to make the soft area hard and stable
