You both are right. I ordered some Iwasaki carving files that were delivered today, so I guess it's time to get moving.

I use a craftsman 2x42 and I still use my original 1x30. Having both of them is very nice. I use one for handles and one for grinding bevels. What ever you choose to buy just make the best of it.

Yeah I did that with my 2x42 and yes that is a hollow grind.
