the moose are EVERYWHERE

My wife and I drove from southern Ontario to Saskatchewan a few weeks back. We were in the middle of nowhere, listening to XM radio, there was nothing else to listen to.

We see this sign in the distance and what to my road weary eyes do appear, but this sign. Our moderator, Moosehead, and all his relatives are starting to take over the world. Go figure, I thought it would be the Chinese!!!!!!!.

sealskins

Rob

I didn't see any sealskins in Saskatchewan. But being a native of Sask. I think I would be able to obtain some for you, without much problem.

But I am sure I did see some seals in Lake Winnipeg, in Manitoba. We stayed with friends there and when we got awoke, October 5, we had 3 inches of snow on the ground. Through the snow I think I saw seals that had travelled as far south, in Lake Winnipeg, as we were. We were only 50 miles north of Winnipeg. I have the pics to prove the snowfall. It is DREADFUL to be back in Canada, with winter approaching!!!

Back to your original question, Rob, I will call my Mother, she lives in Saskatoon and chews on seal blubber on a regular basis. I am sure she can get you some skins.

We did see alot of dead moose, in hunters trailers, in Northern Ontario on our way back. Good moose hunting, if you are into that sort of thing.

Welcome back to civilization, Rod

I'm glad you found the only radio station worth listening to out there.
