Back from Bill Moran's Damascus class!

Hey guys!
I'm back from Old Washington and a week with Bill Moran. Needless to say I am still floating. Bill Moran is a great teacher and one of the nicest people I have ever met. Jim Crowell was co-instructor (and a super guy too) so there was alot of knowledge to learn from. The whole class had a great time and got alot of Damascus made. I shot four roles of film so when I get the scanner fired up I will post some pics.
Take care all.
Scott

Mr.Caffery,
The people of the ABS are really great, and Mr.Moran is a wonderful man.I am glad I had the chance to meet him and plan on one day to become a member and student of this great group.I am sorry that I want have the experience of being taught by mr.Moran himself, but I know that I will be in adequate hands.

One heck of an organization that you belong to sir.

I apologize for changing the subject but I too am still floating from the experience of the Hammer-In.

Yes, its still 1 part steel (01) and 2 parts mild steel (1018). I am working with the scanner now trying to get it going but so far its a losing battle. I'll keep trying.
