15n20 in 1/8 or 3/16 ?
Does anyone out know if 15n20 is available in 1/8 or 3/16 bar or sheet ? |

The last time I bought 15n20 over here in England it came in sheets 2.5mm, just under an 1/8". Its a Swedish steel so its made to metric measurements. The sheets I bought were 18" x 72" |

Steve, The largest I've seen it is .100 , that's not to say it's not available somewhere in thicker sizes, but that's I've not seen it. |

If I`m not mistaken, I think I saw it listed in koval`s catalog in 1/8th |

Steve, I would go with L-6 if you need something heaver. Very simular to 15N20 alloy wise. Admiral Steel has it in a real heavy 3/16th. Ray |

Hi Steve, I would check with a company that produces sawblades. This is where I get my stuff from. That company uses 15N20 from a company called Uddeholm (Sweden) which makes the best 15N20. I saw blades which were 3/16 thick. Ask them if they have left over pieces. That stuff is still expensive, $2 per lb. All the best Cyrus |
