Brush Axe Steel
I picked up a rusty old brush axe with a severely weathered handle at an antique shop. I want to make a knife from it.
Any idea what kind of steel it might be? I'm guessing 1050ish, but I don't really have a clue. I'll stabilize the handle and use it for the knife. __________________ Andy Garrett https://www.facebook.com/GarrettKnives?ref=hl Charter Member - Kansas Custom Knifemaker's Association www.kansasknives.org "Drawing your knife from its sheath and using it in the presence of others should be an event complete with oos, ahhs, and questions." |
