Another Wedding Gift
If my nieces keep it up, I'm going to be busy for a while... Number two is getting married later this month and tradition dictates that she get one of my knives... 440c with Corian scales and pins, the steel is made in the dagger / sword fashion with a through-tang and pommel nut, and pressure-fitted guard. Presentation case is made of walnut with velour interior in the "English" fashion. The knife in front is for the MOB. AEB-L, Corian, 9 inch blades...
Thanks for looking at my work. Chris [IMG][/IMG] __________________ Chris K. Two Mountains Forge Delta, BC, Canada www.twomountainsforge.com |

Great looking package!
The walnut and green velour top it off. Did you make the steel? I've often wondered how to make one. |

Thanks for your kind words. No, I did not make the steel - it is actually hard to come by. I buy a steel at a kitchen supply place and pry off the plastic handle. I thread the short tang, extend it to the length I need and go from there. Not ideal, but it works. I wish I knew where to get "blanks"...
