Slim little hunter/utility in W2 and Premium Koa...
This is the first of two small knives that will be going to a good friend and one of my best repeat collectors. The two knives will not match or be a set in any way. One is ground and full tang, the other is forged and hidden tang. This one is the ground, full tang one.
This is a nice, slim and light hunter/daily carry. I've been selling and taking orders for quite a few of these lately. Specs: Ground from W2, clay quenched and etched 6 3/4" overall, 3 1/8" tip to scales with just over 2 7/8" sharp, .140" thick right at the ricasso with sharp distal taper Blade height is 7/8" tall from spine to edge right in front of the ricasso, handle width at the thickest part (butt end) right about 7/16" Fileworked thumb grip Heavily rounded spine Tapered tang, tapered down to .030" Premium stabilized Koa handle with TONS of shimmer that I can't capture in pics German silver pins Fileworked butt end All comments, discussion and opinions welcome. __________________ John Doyle You have nothing to fear but fear itself...........and bears. |

Your attention to detail is amazing as always! That what's sets exquisite knives apart from nice knives. Thanks for posting. Very inspiring!
