hideout and n y special

Hey Steve,
Is the hideout just a longer blade version than the n.y.s., or are there other dimentional differences?

Speaking of New York Specials:

This old document showed up in an old "Machinist's Handbook" that Don Zaccagnino gave me, that I loaned to Mitch Jenkins, a fellow knifemaker here in town. Bob sent it to me when we were discussing the "Old" NY Spl. handle and his "New" one, with shorter bumps at the front of the handle:

In Durwood Hollis' book on Loveless, Jim Merritt commented "Bob Loveless is the best knife designer in the world". I would agree.
