spalted maple edc
Havent had much garage time lately but i finally managed to finish this one up. Sorry about the crappy pic but i couldnt find the camera and had to use the phone.
The picture dosent do the handle justice. It is curly spalted maple i stabilized it with cactus juice and dyed it with green Alumilite dye. The dye and curl make the senter of the handle look three dimensional. This was my first time using corby rivets, it will take some time getting use to them. It was also my first time using acraglass gel for the handle. I rather liked the consistency, very easy to apply and i didn't end up with epoxy drips on my clothes. [IMG][/IMG] |

Well it didnt last long enough to have a makers mark put on it. Came back from the family reunion minus 4 knives, this being one of the 4. looks like i get to buy a new toy for the shop, the only question is what toy?
