sandpaper
Are you guys using Aluminum Oxide based sand paper? I have a bunch of this type from when I did some body work on the truck. 80 to 400 grit.
I am not sure if this is ok to use on handles and blade or if it is to light. |

I would think it will work. It may not last as long as some but it's free.

The brown aluminum oxide paper is best used for handle materials, it will work on metal but as Mark said, it won't last long. For steel, the black silicon carbide paper is usually preferred....

Thanks all. Tried some and it is ok to finish ip the blade
