Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you can find ANY 1084 now a days, consider yourself lucky! Most, if not all of the companies who produced it went "belly up" a while back. Most of us who used 1084 have now been forced to switch to 1080. I've had several conversations with other makers about ordering a speced out batch of 1084, but the cost is too high for just a few people to afford, and most of the steel compainies are too busy filling orders for overseas. Unless something wonderful happens, I think 1084 may have gone the way of the dodo.

If it's really important to you to have 1084 in 3/32nds thickness - and if you can find some 1084 at all - you can take the pieces to a machine shop in your area and have them surface grind them to the desired thickness. There may even be another maker in your area who has a surface grinder and could help you out ....

Thanks guys. I knew it was getting scarce, but I did not realize how scarce. I have some 1/8" stock.I thought about having it surface ground to 3/32",looks like the way to go.
