Nice fly fishing knife, Dan. Why don't you register so you can enter the contests?

registration?

I've tried to register 4 times. It never works. After all the bother of giving my personal info it never validates. I get stupid e-mails that I have been entered in contests? funny how they can't register me but they put my name in contests I don't want to enter. Is there a way to register with out giving out personal info? I am not giving my address or e-mail again, just so they can send me stuff and not register me. I don't even know who I am giving this info too. No more!

Re: registration?

Dan,
This happens sometimes, but infrequently. I wish we had known about the problem the first time, before it had a chance to really tick you off. We don't have any control over the registration, but we can sure try to get ahold of "the powers that be". I'm sure you're frustrated with the situation.

Anyway, according to EzBoard, when you try to register and get no verification email:

Send email to <a href="mailto:accounts@ezboard.co...zboard.com</a> from the email you used when registering and give the following:

1) The id name you registered under
2) Whether it was a local or global account
3) The link to the board you registered with (NOTE: only if it was a local account)
4) Tell them you need validation

I don't know if you tried to register a local account or global. The difference being, with a global account you are automatically logged into any EzBoard forum you visit. It's the same account id and password globally across all EzBoard forums.

If you tried to register a local account, then the link to this group of forums is:

http://pub42.ezboard.com/bcustomknifedirectoryforum

If I were you I'd persue resolution, and also tell them that you seem to be getting unsolicited email regarding contests or whatever, and that you prefer not to receive "spam". That's strange though. I have had an account with EzBoard for a few years now, and I've never recieved any "spam" from them.

Dan, Good looking shot! If I was a trout, I'd just give up.
