How do you do it, and make it look so simple?
I have seen this done many times, and I always stop and wonder.
How do you guys take such a complicated process like laminating and stacking very different types of handle material into such a wonderful and simple looking finished design? For Example: Here is a pic called the Indian, by ArtinNC http://www.knifenetwork.com/forum/al...&pictureid=779 ( Not sure if this link will work, but you can always copy & paste in search if it doesnt. ) I picked this picture because of the sharp angles that the material was cut and glued at. I think this picture is a perfect example of what I am trying to ask. How do you do it, and make it look so simple ? Jeff |

There was a series of pictures of the process used by D'Holder to make his stacked handles. I think they were in Dr Darom's book on Knifemakers. Take a look at that series if you can find it.
