Latest Creation

A while back, Tim Lively was cleaning shop and giving away several boxes of materials. In my box, was some steel scaps and various pieces of antler and bone. The steel for the blade and antler were in that box. The guard is mild steel and the butt cap is a cut down carriage bolt.

My Dad was the hippie. He said they hadn't picked any boy names while I was growin in womb. So when he got the call and was headed to the hospital, a Neil Young song was on the radio when he pulled into the parking lot. He thought, "Hey, Neil Young, that's a good name." He doesn't remember what song it was though. 29 years later, I still get ribbed about the name.

Look on the bright side, he could have been listening to Captain Beefheart or Yahoo Serious.
