Another great knifemaker registers! Russ Andrews

I just noticed that another great, long time knifemaker registered. Russ Andrews is one of the greats. He has been making knives since the 60s, and makes knives that rival anything made, past and present. Russ is also my mentor, having taken the time to show me the ropes, if you will. A finer person you cannot find. Welcome, Russ!

My next Russ knife may come next week, but I'll still have that one in my head.

Thumbs up

Yes, welcome aboard from another new forum member, guy. I've seen some pics of your work, and I can understand why collectors would brag, being fortunate enough to own one of your great knives. Outright TLC and hard work goes into every knife you make. I am a maker, and can honestly say I really look forward to more posts of your work.

Be patient, John. Hopefully, this weekend I will be able to post pictures of my new hunter from Russ. Russ emailed me last night, and told me he was doing a little extra touch up on my knife. Evidently, Russ has figured out that I will be posting pictures of this knife, as he told me his touch ups included 1500 grit paper!
