Does anyone have a source for for the folder pivots that have a rather large head on them with two holes in them(I suppose for tighting them with a special tool?) Just experimenting. How do you like them over other pivot types? Thanx, Pat McGroder

Pat,
Most of those types of pivots are custom made by the makers. I've yet to see anything along those lines commercially available. __________________ WWW.CAFFREYKNIVES.NET Caffreyknives@gmail.com "Every CHOICE has a CONSEQUENCE, and all your CONSEQUENCES are a result of your CHOICES." |

Hi pjelect,
It sounds to me like your describing a type of security fastener. There are screws and bolt as you described termed "Snake Eyes" style fastners. They use a spanner to tighten or loosen them. You can find them at the link below. I hope this helps you. http://www.hudsonfasteners.com/security.htm |
