Templates for drilling?
Hey there all,
I have a question for your infinitely wise minds....is there such a thing as a drill templete for a DDR-II? I am thinking of using some Jade for grips and the shaping has gone fine..however I am looking to drill the holes and I am REALLY hoping not to screw up. Suggestions? Drilling template? Sure is.
We all use the liner itself as a drilling template. Use a 1/64" drill and it will pass through the threads without any cutting of them. I use double sided tape to secure the scales to it while drilling. You can also use clamps and a riser block to do the same thing. Get a good square edge on the jade and butt it up against the bolster and then secure them. Did you have something else in mind?
