Now you know why I'm in love with forging! My very first mentor introduced me to the forge while building a barrel (very similar methods to that video)....and at that time, a young Ed, was mezmerized by what a man could do with hot steel, a hammer, and his own knowledge/experience. That's a video that I could never get tired of watching!

I have seen this Video many times and it never gets old . when I was a young lad My Great G-Paw was a Master Smith in this area I would sit /stand for hours in his shop with him and watch him make many things . He finally said if you are going to be here every day doing nothing why do you come ? He said; "get busy and do something even if it is not right"and let me tell you something that was the start of my passion for Blacksmithing and working with my Great G-Paw it was Awesome !
