Mater Tenebrarum

http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...psrajislme.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...pswkersx1c.jpg I keep saying that I'm not going to make another sword. Too much work, heat-treating is awful, et-bloody-cetera! Then I sell one, and all these promises are forgotten. My last Gladius Hispaniensis was sold at the Mesa knifeshow in January, and I've been working on this ever since. This is Mater Tenebrarum...Our Lady Of Darkness, with all due respect and gratitude to my old friend Fritz Leiber. __________________ Charles D. This world needs more swords, and that is a mighty fine one...
I took the liberty of posting one of the photos directly. __________________ A good friend told me one time about forging "What is there not to like, you get to break all the rules you were told as a kid, don't play with that it is sharp, don't play with fire, and don't beat on that" Wade Holloway See some of my work. |
