Here's my #2

I just finished up my second knife last night. The handle is buckeye burl with nickle silver pins and bolster. Blade is O-1 at 60 rockwell. OAL is 6.5 and the blade is 2.85 long by .73 wide. Let me know what you thing and criticism is appreciated. Here it is and thanks for looking.

Oh ya and there's that eraser again. I have to come up with something more natural. Lol

Well, it's very pretty but at 6.5" OAL it is very small. Have you done any testing on these so that you know you've really made a knife and not just something that looks like a (very pretty) knife but isn't? That's kind of a normal thing for new knife makers - they work so hard making the knife pretty they forget it still needs to be able to work like a knife.

Another question: how do you know it's Rc 60?

It is what was left from the piece of my first knife. I was going to make it into a pearing knife but I figured it was on the thick side at .125 so I will use it as my edc when I actually have a knife with me. It will definately get tested.
It was actually tested at 60 rc. I didn't ht it myself. I am hoping to get set up to do my own ht soon.

Well done Icho. Although I like the pink pearl (great shop tool), it does pull color away from your knife in the pics. Camera's are funny like that.
