Removeable handle bolts
I am sure someone on here can tell me where to get the handle bolts you see on tactical knives . The bolts usually set down in a recessed hole , one male , one female . These bolts are removeable , so you can remove the handles to clean under the scales , and then replace the handles . They are usually black in color , and allen head . Thanks , SCOTT

Tracy Micky has them. I think his web site is usaknifemaker.com. You have to buy them separate. Actually as I look at your post again what you describe is more like what I think they call Chicago Bolts, what Tracy has is a 3 part. A female part that is in the middle with screws either 6x32 or 8x32 screw in from each end. I believe the female part take a #12 drill bit. But POPs also has the drill bits for these screws.

Thanks Wade , i have seen the chicago bolts , and thats not what i need , but the other one seems to sound right . I use pops handles bolts to permanatly fasten the handles on , so i have the drill bits already , i think . Thanks for the help . SCOTT
