Welcome everyone!
I thank Jerry for the link from the old site. I've been goofing off, sorry....
Look around and play with some of the neat things we can do easily now. __________________ http://www.srjknives.com NRA Endowment Member Knifemakers' Guild Member since 1971 "May you live all the days of your life." - Jonathan Swift Last edited by Steve; 06-15-2002 at 11:07 PM. |

Welcome
Hey, if there's one thing I've learned from making knives, it's that if you do something over enough times, you eventually get it to work!

Thanks, Bob. I have to keep up with the other two Bob's! When all is said and done, the 1911 is still hangin' in there, it seems.

As long as you like guns, you is home! Though some homes are different than others.

Whats a SCOTT/MCDOUGAL?
I am confident that the glock is the best defensive combat gun on the planet.............BUT........I have about 6 1911s and I shoot them regularly!!! The 1911 is a most wonderful gun......but to get them to shoot good they have to be accurized and when you do that they have to be function fitted, etc etc etc. GLOCKS WORK.............right out of the box...all the time. Like a revolver, you just have to pull the trigger. The glock is so much lighter and corrosion proof than any 1911, and did I say they always work, all the time!! I also have a 40x 308.........it shoots into less than a third of an inch all day, but in a firefight I am reaching for an AR15 w/trigicon scope.........why..................it works. If I am going to the range it is one thing.......If I am concerned about my safety, it is another matter entirely. oh yea....I have a Smith model 19 under my bench, right by my Glock 40!
