New setup
I changed the way I was taking pictures , I would like some advice on what you guys think is still wrong with the new way. Its definitly better that the old way. Here is a pic of the same knife , new then old ways.
now for the old way. As I said I would like your opinions on what you think is still wrong. I am still using the same camera , a cheap Kodak , I cant afford a new one right now so it will have to do. Thanks for everything __________________ Also known as Dwane Oliver |

Dwane - That's an incredible improvement! It looks great! To eliminate that unwanted blade reflection try holding a small piece of white foamboard above the blade in different positions while you look through the viewfinder. You'll soon see how this little trick works wonders!

Hey Shane glad to see you on the forum , I was looking at that post from Buddy about the diffrent ways to do stuff and sombody said something about a laundry sack , well anyway this is what I built for $9.50. I just used a shop light on one side , today I'm gona cut the wire on one of the lights and get it on the other side , just hang it or something.
I'm als gona try and find a tri-pod __________________ Also known as Dwane Oliver |

100% improvement. As you learn, you will find how positioning of the lights, the diffuser, the knife, and angles all change the output.
The biggest 'sin' in the new photo is the reflection of two diffusers in the blade. What you want to strive for is a homogenized even lighting. This particular blade would be tough because it goes 'around the corner'. Keep at it. Coop |
