Blade Show News?

So what's happening at the Blade SHow from a CKD point of view? Anyone got any reports or better still pictures?

I'll make it there one year...

That's what I'm waiting on! I've been stuck here at the house waiting. Jeesh, the show's been over at least six hours!
I'm hoping everyone sold lots of knives.

I am afraid to start naming names becuase you see so many people and it is easy to forget. The level of workmanship is amazing. High end autos seem to be on the way out. Small elegant folders ala Cliff Parker or Don Hanson III are what really caught my eye this show. I talked to Don a few times and got some ideas. Chatted with Jerry Corbit...his folders are phenominal. I went to dinner with my friend Pedro and Rick and Lori Hinderer. Rick has mega talent.

Now if I can remember all the forumites...talked quite a few times with Jonathan Loose and his gorgeous friend Daphne, saw Don Cowles and Jerry Hossom, always hanging out with Rob Simonich at the shows, met Mike McCrae, chatted with Rade, had my car vandalized but Tom Mayo and Scott Jones, met Charles Sauer, spent some quality time with Mike and Michelle Snody...I know there is a hundred more I missed that I will remember as soon as I click "add reply". Terrill doesn't count

Supply-wise. I picked up Damascus from Bob Eggerling, Charles Marks and a bar of Devin Thomas high contrast Spirograph for an order. Also got some pearl from Mother of Pearl company including a set of black lip for a small project and some mammoth bark ivory.
