pictures from knifemaker weekends

If any of y'all have some pictures from any of the knifemaker meets at my place or Stanley's place please post them here or email them to me. I'm trying to finish out an article for Don for the TKCA newsletter, but I only have one pic!

I've got some pics and promise to send them tonight. Since I did video, I have to get the pics from that and I've had trouble extracting the pics. It works if the files are small, but locks up if they are any real size.

Hope you get those photos TJ.

All input appreciated.

Actually, I have a lot of pages I can use now. I may need to prune a few pics from the SOS and TKA shows to make room for yours, but I definitely want some of yours and of course Don's article.

Thanks to both of you.

I'll check my memory cards when I get home. I remember taking some of the mokume that Don was making. And then of course the firing of the cannon. Problem is, my household has a real bad habit of erasing the cards.

Actually Stan, I'd love to have one at my place. I didn't get many replies from the last group email I sent. Maybe your ribs are that much better than my own!

The ribs were good! Stan is a awesome host!!

I don't recall Chris ever sending an actual invitation - which may explain the low turnout! I do recall Chris volunteering to hold one.

Truth is, we all like going to Donnie's place because there's a pretty good chance something will be blown up - sometimes even on purpose!!

I have video from several hammer-ins, but I can't get the pictures extracted. Apparently the cheap (free) software I use locks up when the files are too large. If I hadn't already re-used the tape, I could load smaller files. Or, if the stupid other cheap software I have would split the files like its supposed to do, I could make smaller files and be OK. I probably should spring for some software that actually works, but the holidays and one of my vehicles pillaged and sacked my finances.

I sent Don what pics I could get, including one with fire belching from the "gonne".

Well, Don's place certainly IS the place to be when you want to see something go BOOM!

Don, sent you an email. Let me know if you still need anything.

I got the emails...thanks!

Yeah Stan, I should have a folder somewhere with two events worth of pics. I have no idea where they are. Of course, I just recently found the pics from last July's vacation. My computer files are as organized as my shop....except I can generally find the tongs in the mess out there!

Chris,
A shot of the mokume jig at heat would be perfect!
